Chess in the Altmarkt-Galerie Dresden
The Altmarkt-Galerie welcomes from the 26–27 March a truely royal visitor. The world-famous chess player Garrie Kasporow is signing his new book "My Great Predecessors Raoul Capablanca, Alexander Aljechin, Max Euwe" and answering questions from his appreciators on the afternoon of March 26th. The extraordinary talent of the new genertion Falko Bindrich (13), most successfull German under 14 years, challenges on both days the old master of Dresden GM Wolfgang Uhlmann (67) to compete a “Duel of the Generations”. Furthermore, Falko invites the audience to take part in a challenge with virtuell enemies on the internet. A talk with take place about the successful new generation of work in the Dresdner teachers of the Sport High School Dresden, members and representative of the sponsor of the Infineon chess Juniorteam and local chess associations will be speaking.
Enjoy a show with music dance and games organised by Sportsax and the living chess ensamble from Ströbeck on 27th March. All interested can take part in the Chess-Garden in the basement of Altmarkt-Galerie or the many boards available there. Have fun!!
